The internal oil thermostat will restrict flow to your heat exchanger until the activation temperature is reached; this provides improved warm-up while maintaining efficient cooling properties. Thanks to a small footprint and rear-mounted thermostat, the Mishimoto sandwich plate can be installed in even the tightest engine bays where the exhaust or other engine components create strict space constraints. This sandwich plate includes two 1/8 NPT ports for use with temperature or pressure sensors.
