Light Covers
Light Covers: cheap insurance for expensive off-road lights
A set of auxiliary lights takes a beating up front - stones off the trail, branch strikes, and grit thrown by the vehicle ahead. Light covers are the cheap part that keeps the expensive part alive. A cover snaps or straps over the lens so a rock hits the cover instead of the glass or optic. Amber and clear covers also let you change the beam's color or knock the output down when you don't want the lens exposed, and blackout covers just protect the lens when the light is parked and not in use.
What we stock
This page carries 64 light covers across four brands. Rigid Industries is the deepest line here with 38 of the covers in the range, followed by KC HiLiTES at 14, ARB at 10, and Hella at 2. Current pricing runs from $26 to $91 for what is in stock - that's the live range, not a locked-in promise. You'll see hard acrylic shields like the KC HiLiTES LiteShield for 6in. lights, colored lenses like the ARB Amber AR21, and soft covers for parked lights.
How to choose
Start with the light you own - covers are sized and shaped to specific housings, so match the cover to the round or size the light maker built. From there:
- Clear hard covers protect the lens while you drive with the light on. The KC LiteShield acrylic and ARB clear AR32 fit this use.
- Amber covers change the beam color and are handy in dust or fog. The Rigid 360-Series amber and ARB AR21 amber are the options here.
- Soft blackout covers like the KC 8in. round protect a parked lens but come off before you switch the light on.
Note whether a listing is sold as a single or a pair - several here, including the Rigid 360-Series and KC LiteShield, are pairs. Brand matters mostly for matching your existing lights: a Rigid cover is cut for Rigid housings.
What else you need with it
Covers protect lights you already run, so the natural companions are in Lighting and the LED Light Bars category. If you're building out the front of a truck, browse Headlights and the Mirrors section, and add Mud Flaps to cut the spray that pits your lenses in the first place. All of these sit under the wider Exterior section.
Fitment help and ordering
These covers list no vehicle fitment data, so choose by the light model and size they're built for rather than by make or year. If you're unsure which cover matches your lights, call fitment help at 813-535-5801 or reach us through contact us. Every order ships with free shipping, and Affirm and Katapult financing is available at checkout.
