17 Inch Wheels
Choosing 17-inch wheels usually means staying close to factory sizing or stepping up modestly from a smaller OE setup. This is a practical, balanced diameter: there's enough sidewall left for a comfortable ride and real-world pothole protection, and tire selection at this size is broad and affordable. Many drivers prefer 17s for autocross, track days, and winter setups, since the taller sidewall improves feel and lets the tire do more of the work.
Keep in mind that diameter is only part of the equation. The overall rolling diameter—wheel plus tire—needs to stay close to your original spec so your speedometer, handling, and clearances all behave. Just as important, any wheel still has to match your car's bolt pattern, center bore, and offset to fit correctly.
