20 Inch Wheels
Choosing a 20-inch wheel usually means stepping up from a smaller OE size, a move known as plus-sizing. Going larger typically shortens the tire's sidewall to keep the overall rolling diameter close to factory, which protects your speedometer accuracy and keeps clearance in check. That trade-off favors a more aggressive stance and works well on trucks, SUVs, and full-size sedans, though it can firm up the ride compared with a taller sidewall. Tire availability is also worth checking, since some less common fitments are harder to source in this size.
Diameter alone does not guarantee a fit. Any wheel still has to match your car's bolt pattern, center bore, and offset to mount and clear suspension and brake components properly. If you want help matching all of that to a specific tire, our Package Builder walks you through it step by step.
