Lanyards

Lanyards: keep your keys and pass off the floor

A lanyard is simple gear that does one honest job - it holds a set of keys, a pit pass, an ID badge or a bottle opener around your neck or clipped to a bag so it is not rolling under a workbench or lost in a gear bag. Most people fit one because it keeps the thing they reach for most on hand without a pocket dig, and because a branded lanyard is an easy way to fly the colors of a brand you already run. This page is the lanyards category in our Lifestyle section.

What we stock

We currently list 3 lanyards from 3 brands: Akrapovic, Skunk2 Racing and ProTaper. The current in-stock price range runs from $21 to $29 - that is what is on the shelf now, not a standing promise. The three examples are the Akrapovic Lanyard 800613 at $28.61, the Skunk2 Lanyard 888-99-9002 at $26.79, and the ProTaper Lanyard 025218 at $21.06. Lanyards are not vehicle-specific, so there is no fitment to match here - pick on brand and price.

How to choose

The choice in this category is really about which brand you want to carry:

  • Akrapovic - the priciest of the three at $28.61, for exhaust-brand loyalists.
  • Skunk2 Racing - middle of the range at $26.79.
  • ProTaper - the lowest price here at $21.06 if you just want a solid, no-fuss lanyard.

There is not a wide functional gap between them, so buy the one whose brand you already run or like. With only three options, the decision is fast.

What else you need

A lanyard usually rides alongside the rest of your paddock and garage kit. If you are stocking out a gear setup, look at Keychains (12 products) to match your keys, and Gear Bags (56 products) to carry everything. For track and trailer days, browse Tiedowns (44 products), Cargo Nets (16 products) and Hydration Packs (26 products). Garage staples live in Tools (30 products), Detailing Chemicals (88 products) and Accessories (84 products).

Ordering

Every order ships with free shipping, and Affirm and Katapult financing are available if you are building out a bigger cart. Lanyards have no fitment to check, but if you have a question about any product or your order, reach us by phone at 813-535-5801 or through our contact page.
