Scale 4X4

Scale 4X4 wheels: built for the trail, priced for the real world

Scale 4X4 wheels are a purpose-built off-road line aimed squarely at trucks, SUVs and 4x4s that see dirt as often as pavement. Every wheel in the range is a cast monoblock in smaller diameters, 14 through 17 inches, the sizes serious off-roaders keep coming back to for taller sidewall and cheaper tire replacement. This is a no-nonsense catalog: aggressive faces, workhorse finishes, and pricing that leaves room in the budget for tires. You can see the whole range on the Scale 4X4 hub.

The Scale 4X4 lineup

Eight models, all monoblock, each with its own personality. Here is how they differ from one another.

Ace

A clean, classic-face wheel offered in 15 and 16 inch. The Ace comes in a single sharp finish, Black with a Machined Face, and it's the one to reach for if you want brightwork without a busy design. Comes in 5x114.3 and 6x139.7 as a fact of the model.

Bandit II

The value anchor and the widest-fitting model in the range. The Bandit II is the only wheel offered down to 14 inch, and it's cast in four bolt patterns including 8x165.1, so it stretches from small 4x4s up to heavy-duty applications. Two finishes: Machined Clear Coat and Matte Black. It's the least expensive wheel Scale makes.

Buckshot

A single 17x9.0 in a deep -6 offset, Matte Black only. The Buckshot is the concave, aggressive-stance option when you want the wheel to sit out and fill the arch.

S01

The first of the S-series, all 17 inch. The S01 adds color: it's offered in Matte Black and Matte Bronze, so it's the pick if you want a warmer tone against a lift or off-road build.

S02

The most finish-rich wheel in the catalog. The S02 comes in four choices, Glossy Black, Machined, Matte Black and Matte Bronze, all in 17 inch. If you want the widest palette in the range, this is it.

S03

The most aggressive S-series face. The S03 runs a 17x9.0 in a deep -25 offset, in Machined or Matte Black. This is the poke-and-stance wheel of the family.

S52

The old-school beadlock-look star pattern in 15 and 16 inch. The S52 comes with a two-tone machined face, either Glossy Black w/Machined Face or Silver w/Machined Face, and runs a deep -46 offset in the 15x10. It's the retro-flavored option in the group.

Sahara

The all-rounder. The Sahara is the only model offered across all three of the brand's larger diameters, 15, 16 and 17 inch, in straightforward Matte Black. Simple, clean and easy to live with.

Construction and finishes

Every Scale 4X4 wheel is a one-piece monoblock casting, which keeps weight sensible and cost down while holding up to trail abuse. Across the range you'll find eight finishes: Black w/Machined Face, Glossy Black, Glossy Black w/Machined Face, Machined, Machined Clear Coat, Matte Black, Matte Bronze and Silver w/Machined Face. Matte Black is the common thread across most models; the machined-face and bronze options are where you add character.

Price and who it's for

Scale 4X4 sits in the honest, budget-conscious end of the aftermarket. Pricing runs from about $126 per wheel on the Bandit II up to roughly $252 on the S03, so a full set stays reasonable and leaves room for tires and hardware. This line is for daily-driven trucks and 4x4s, weekend trail rigs and overland builds where you want a real off-road look without paying forged-wheel money. Browse the full new-wheels catalog if you want to compare against other brands.
