Fog Light Mounting Kits
Fog Light Mounting Kits: vehicle-specific brackets that put your lights where they belong
Fog light mounting kits are the brackets and hardware that locate an auxiliary light in a factory fog pocket, on the cowl, in a bumper, or on a roof line without you drilling and guessing. A good kit uses the existing holes and body lines so the light sits level, clears the hood and doors, and does not rattle loose on a washboard road. That is the whole job: the right steel or aluminum bracket for your specific truck or side-by-side, plus the bolts to hang the light you already chose. Get the kit that matches your vehicle and the install is a bolt-on; get a generic one and you fight it.
What we stock
There are 18 fog light mounting kits in stock right now across three brands: Rigid Industries (10 of the sample), Baja Designs (7), and KC HiLiTES (1). Prices currently run from $32 to $1,374 — that is the live range for what is on the shelf, not a fixed quote. At the low end is the KC HiLiTES Cyclone V2 Surf Mount Adapter. In the middle sit vehicle-specific brackets like the Rigid Industries 2020+ Ford Super Duty Dual Fog Mount and the Rigid Industries 2018 Jeep JL Cowl Mount Kit. Toward the top are full assemblies like the Baja Designs 19+ GMC 1500 S1 Fog Pocket Mount Kit and the Baja Designs Can-Am Maverick R 40in S8 Roof Mount Kit.
Of the 18 kits, 11 list specific fitment. Top vehicles covered include the Toyota Tundra, Can-Am Maverick X3, Jeep JL, Ford Raptor, GMC 1500, Ford Super Duty and Can-Am Maverick R, with a year range spanning 2010 to 2024.
How to choose
The first question is whether the price includes lights or just the bracket. A sub-$50 adapter like the KC surf mount is hardware only — you supply the light. A four-figure kit like the Baja roof mount is a complete assembly. So compare on what is in the box, not on the number alone.
- Buy for your exact vehicle and year. A cowl kit cut for a Jeep JL will not fit a Super Duty. Match the make, model and year before anything else.
- Match the bracket to the light series. Kits are designed around a specific light — an S1 pocket, a D-Series pair, an S8 bar — so pick the mount that suits the light you want to run.
- Decide on the location. Fog pocket and cowl mounts keep things factory-clean; roof mounts throw farther but sit high.
What else you need with it
A mount is only half the setup. Pair it with the light itself and the wiring from Lighting, or step up to an LED Light Bar for the roof and bumper mounts. If you are refreshing the whole front end, look at Headlights and Turn Signals, and finish the build with Mud Flaps. All of these live under the Exterior section, and truck-specific gear is grouped in Truck and SUV.
