A turn signal flasher is the small relay that makes your signals blink on and off. When one wears out, the signals may stay lit, blink unevenly or stop working. Many riders and drivers also replace the flasher after switching to LED bulbs. LEDs draw much less current than incandescent bulbs, and an older flasher can read that as a burned-out bulb. The result is often hyper-flash or no flash at all. A flasher matched to your lighting brings the blink rate back to normal.
