Method Race Wheels
Method Race wheels: purpose-built hardware for trucks and off-road rigs
Method Race wheels earned their name doing the job most wheels only pose for. The brand is known for wheels that hold up to real off-road abuse - desert running, overlanding, rock work - without the fashion-first shortcuts you find in a lot of the market. When you pick up a Method, the first thing you notice is the weight and the finish work: these are tools first, jewelry second. ThreePiece.us stocks the range as an authorized Method Race dealer.
The lineup
The models we carry each solve a different problem. Below is what actually separates them from their siblings - not the badge, the build.
- 305BZ NV - The NV pattern in 18-inch, dressed in Method Bronze. This is the aggressive, negative-offset side of the range; the sample we stock is an 18x9 at -12 in 6x139.7 for $385. If you want the NV look poked out with a warmer finish, this is it.
- 305MB NV - Same NV DNA, but stepped down to a 17-inch and finished machined with a matte black lip. The 17x8.5 +0 in 6x139.7 runs $315, making it the value entry into the NV family - a taller sidewall and a two-tone face instead of the monochrome bronze.
- 318B - A clean, gloss black 17-inch in the 6x135 pattern. Where the NV wheels lean concave and busy, the 318B is a simpler, tidier face. The 17x8.5 +0 lists at $319.
- 605B NV - The heavy-duty end. A 20-inch in the 8x170 eight-lug pattern, matte black, built for the bigger trucks that need it. The 20x9 -12 is $439 - the priciest and largest in this group, and the only 8-lug we list here.
- 703BZ Bead Grip - The oddball, and the most specialized. A 16-inch 5x130 in Method Bronze with Method's Bead Grip technology, which bites the tire bead for better retention at low pressures without a full beadlock ring. The 16x6 +68 runs $388.69 - a narrow, high-positive wheel with a very different job than the rest.
That's the visible slice; the broader Method catalog runs deep into MR301 The Standard, MR305, the MR701 family, and dedicated UTV beadlock and rally lines.
Construction and finishes
Every wheel in this group is monoblock - one piece of cast aluminum, not a bolted multi-piece. That's the honest choice for a wheel that's going to see rocks and ruts: fewer parts, fewer failure points, easier to trust off pavement. Method's Bead Grip on the 703BZ adds a tire-retention feature at the bead without the weight and rebuild-kit maintenance of a true beadlock.
Across the models here you'll find four finishes: Gloss Black, Matte Black, Machined - Matte Black Lip, and Method Bronze. The bronze is the signature look; the machined lip gives you a two-tone face; the two blacks keep it plain and easy to match.
Price and who it's for
This group runs from $315 to $439 per wheel. That's mid-market - more than a generic cast wheel, less than a forged monoblock - and it buys you a wheel engineered for actual off-road duty rather than curb appeal alone. If you drive a truck, run trails, or build an overland rig and want hardware that won't flinch, Method is squarely aimed at you.

Method builds wheels for trucks, Jeeps and UTVs that get used, not just parked. Below is every model we stock right now, which trucks each bolt pattern covers, and how to choose between beadlock and bead grip.
Popular designs, side by side
Method MR401 UTV Beadlock
The MR401 is a 15-inch true beadlock for UTVs, in 15x6 and 15x7. It comes in Machined or Matte Black, in 4x136, 4x156, 5x114.3 and 6x139.7. The bolt-on ring clamps the outer bead, so plan on checking the ring bolts after hard rides.
Method MR409 Bead Grip
Method MR703
The MR703 is a smaller-diameter trail wheel, offered only in 16 and 17 inch. That leaves room for a tall sidewall, which suits Jeeps, Tacomas and 4Runners that get aired down. Sizes include narrow 16x6.5 and 17x7.5 widths as well as 16x8, 17x8.5 and 17x9, in Matte Black or Bronze. If you want an 18 or 20, look at the other designs.
Method MR318
The MR318 comes in 17x8.5, 18x8.5 and 18x9, in Gloss Black, Bronze or Machined. It covers half-ton trucks, Jeeps, 2007-2021 Tundras, and 8x170 and 8x180 heavy-duty trucks. It has no 16-inch option for owners who want the tallest sidewall.
Method MR323
The MR323 comes in gloss finishes only: Gloss Black or Gloss Bronze. Sizes are 17x8.5 and 18x9. It fits 6x135 F-150s, 6x139.7 trucks and 8x170 Super Duty trucks. It covers fewer patterns than most of the lineup, so check that yours is listed.
Method MR105 Beadlock
The MR105 is a true 17-inch beadlock for trucks and Jeeps, in 17x8.5 and 17x9 Matte Black. Patterns include 5x127, 6x139.7, 5x114.3, 5x139.7 and 8x165.1. The ring clamps the outer bead for the lowest trail pressures. Expect more upkeep than a standard wheel, because the ring bolts need regular checks.
Method MR411 Bead Grip
The MR411 is a 15x7 UTV bead grip wheel in Matte Black. It comes in 4x136, 4x156 and 5x114.3. It holds the bead better than a plain wheel at low pressure, without a ring to maintain. Look at the MR401 if you want a full beadlock instead.
Method MR701
The MR701 covers 16 to 18 inch, with narrow 16x6.5 and 17x7.5 widths alongside 16x8, 17x8.5, 17x9 and 18x9. It fits Tacoma, 4Runner, Wrangler and half-ton truck patterns, and owners have it on late-model Tundras. Finishes are Matte Black and Bronze only. If you want machined or gloss, check the MR315 or MR318.
Method MR106 Beadlock
Method MR305 NV
The MR305 NV has the biggest pattern spread in the lineup. It runs from 5x114.3 and 5x127 Jeep and midsize patterns up to 8x165.1, 8x170 and 8x180 heavy-duty trucks. Sizes go 16x8, 17x8.5, 18x9, 20x9 and 20x10, in Matte Black, Gloss Black, Black, Bronze or Machined. Popularity cuts both ways: it is everywhere, so it won't make your truck stand out in a parking lot.
Method MR315
The MR315 is the one to look at for a two-tone or gold wheel. It comes in Machined, Gold, Gloss Black and Matte Black, in 16x8, 17x8.5, 17x9 and 18x9. Patterns cover half-ton trucks, Jeeps, 2007-2021 Tundras and all three common 8-lug patterns. It stops at 18 inch, so it isn't a 20-inch build.
Method MR414 Bead Grip
Method MR416 Beadlock
Method MR401-R UTV Beadlock
Method MR316
The MR316 is a plain matte black wheel in 17x8, 17x8.5 and 18x9. It covers 6x139.7, 6x135, 5x150 and 5x127, plus 6x120. It suits half-ton trucks and Jeeps where you want a clean, all-black look. There are no 8-lug or bronze options.

Building a rally car instead of a truck? The MR502 rally wheel in 5x114.3 is the one built for that.

Heavy-duty 8-lug options
Own a 2500 or a Super Duty? The MR305 NV HD is built 8-lug only, in 17 and 18 inch. If you want 20s, the MR605 NV and the standard MR305 NV both come in 8-lug. The MR315 and MR318 also cover 8x170 and 8x180, and the Double Standard covers 8x165.1 and 8x170.
Method 305 and 701 Wheels on Real Trucks
Here's what customers actually run. On F-150s, owners run MR305 NVs at 18x9 0 offset with 305 tires, and at 20x10 0 with 315s. Both setups give a poke stance, with the wheel sitting past the fender.
Tundra owners lean flush instead. A 2017 Tundra runs MR305 NVs at 18x9 +18 with 315s. A 2021 runs bronze MR305s at 18x9 +25, and a 2024 runs bronze MR701s at 18x9 +18 with 315s. Across the Tundra builds, 18x9 +18 on a 315 tire shows up most. One 2023 owner went narrower, with 17x7.5 +25 and 275s.
Beadlock vs Bead Grip
A true beadlock uses a bolt-on ring that clamps the outer tire bead to the wheel. That lets you run very low pressure with less risk of the tire peeling off. The trade-off is upkeep: the ring bolts need regular checks. The MR105 and the MR106 17-inch beadlock cover trucks and Jeeps, and the MR401 covers UTVs.
Bead grip has no ring. Instead, a textured bead seat helps the tire hold on when aired down. It's simpler to live with, but it's a step below a full beadlock. The MR707 and MR703 Bead Grip cover trucks, and the MR411 and MR409 cover UTVs.
Method UTV Wheels: 15-Inch Options
The UTV range comes in 15 inch only, in 4x156, 4x136, 5x114.3 and 6x139.7. Pick the MR401 for a full beadlock, or the MR411 for bead grip. The MR409 bead grip UTV wheel adds wider options. Check your machine in the fitment search before ordering.
Finishes
Matte Black is what most of the stocked range comes in. It's low-glare and hides trail dust. Method Bronze is a warm, coppery tone that pops on white, gray or black trucks. Machined wheels show bare silver aluminum under a clear coat. Gloss Titanium is a darker metallic gray, and Double Black pairs two shades of black. Some wheels also have a black Street Loc ring look on the face.
Before You Order
Offset and lift change everything, so check your exact truck in the fitment search instead of guessing. Already running aftermarket wheels? Questions
Will Method wheels fit my Ford F-150?
Yes, 2004-and-newer F-150s use 6x135, which the MR305 NV, MR315, MR323 and several other models offer. Check your exact truck in the fitment search for offset.
What's the difference between the MR305 NV and the MR305 NV HD?
The HD comes in 8-lug patterns only (8x165.1, 8x170, 8x180), in 17 and 18 inch, for heavy-duty trucks. The standard MR305 NV covers 5-lug and 6-lug trucks too, and goes up to 20 inch.
Should I get the Method 701 or the Method 703?
Pick the MR703 if you want 16 or 17 inch with more sidewall. Pick the MR701 if you want the option of an 18x9.
Do I need a beadlock for airing down?
Not always. Bead grip handles moderate airing down with no ring to maintain, while a true beadlock is for the lowest pressures.
Which Method wheels come in 20 inch?
The MR305 NV comes in 20x9 and 20x10, and the MR605 NV adds a 20x12.
What does 0 offset vs +18 offset do?
A lower offset pushes the wheel further out, so 0 tends to poke past the fender while +18 sits closer to flush. The size comparison calculator shows the difference against your current wheels.
