Today I waste some of my time to figure out where Carolina squat came from. So, with an amazing name like the Carolina squat, you must be thinking South or maybe North Carolina. What if I told you it came from the great state of California? Shock!

Originating from Baja trucks in California, the softer suspension led to them leaning back a little, which of course led to the California lean. Tasteful, and if done properly, it's a really nice look. Now, some kind folk in the Carolinas had to go and perfect this, of course, creating the over-exaggerated look that we all know today, sitting like a dog wiping its [expletive] on the grass.

We don't have to go and respect all builds or respect all trends. We just ask that you do it in a safe manner. Is the Carolina squat safe? We'll let you decide that.
