2015-2021 VA/VB Subaru WRX and STI Wheel Fitment Guide

If you're a fan of the Subaru WRX, you're in luck because we've got the lowdown on the perfect wheel, tire, and suspension setup for your ride.

Need fitment help? Our team of fitment experts is here to guide you through exactly what you need!

Whether you're looking for a OEM+ setup, a flush setup, or an aggressive setup on your 2015-2021 WRX, we've got you covered.

Generally, for an OEM+ setup we recommend a 18x8.5+35-+40 wheel, however we will caveat this by saying that you can have a set of wheels that fits and performs better by moving to a Flush setup.

Some great choices for an OEM+ setup are:
Work Emotion M8R 5x114.3 18x8.5+35
Volk Racing ZE40 5x114.3 18x8.5+35
Gram Lights 57DR 5x114.3 18x8.5+37

Next up is the Flush setup. We recommend going for an 18-inch diameter wheel with a width of 9.5 inches and an offset of +38. As for the tire size, you can choose between 245-255 depending on the size of your wheel. This setup is great for those who want a daily driver that can also handle some more aggressive driving.

Finally, WORK Wheels USA's VA STI was outfitted with a set of Emotion T7R in 18x9.5+38 and shows off the great brake clearance offered by these wheels, as well as the perfect flush fitment with a set of 255/35/18 tires

Finally, we have the aggressive setup. This is the option for those who want to push the limits of their WRX. We recommend going for an 18-inch diameter wheel with coilovers or air suspension. Widths, you're looking for around a 9.5 to 10, with low double digit offsets. Something around a +12 to +20 is perfect. If you are going for a more extreme/onicamber setup, something to the tune of a 18x10+0 will work well. When it comes to fitments like this, get in touch with our fitment experts who have thousands of hours of fitment expertise and can guide you through your new setup.

You'll also need some other suspension components such as camber plates in the front, adjustable camber arms and adjustable toe arms, in the rear.

As for the tire size, depending on your fitment you'll need to run a 215 to 225. This setup is perfect for those who want a low car with fender-to-lip action going on with the rear toe arms, along with rear lower control arms to help with the camber.

This WRX is sitting on a set of 3 piece Heritage Wheel EBISU and has extensive modifications to achieve this stance with matching F/R Camber. Racer-X front arms as well as upgraded rear arms are required for this. See more on @STI.Marsh 's IG

@wrxjon went a different path and picked up a set of our OEM To 3 Piece Converted Toyota Crown wheels, marrying 90s Toyota styling with his modern WRX

Finally @illestr8tion chose a more conservative aggressive setup(oxymoron huh) with a set of Work Emotion T7R 2P that both clear his STI's massive brakes, and offer deep concavity in the rear.
