2017 BMW M3

2017 BMW M3 wheel fitment at a glance

This 2017 BMW M3 is running RSR 801 series, staggered: 20x9.5 +25 up front and 20x10.5 +35 in the rear, wrapped in 255/30R20 front and 295/25R20 rear Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 K120 tires.

It sits on H&R sport lowering springs with a flush stance, meaning the wheel face lines up with the fender.

If you are searching for BMW M3 wheel fitment, RSR 801 series on a BMW M3, 20x9.5 +25 wheels on a M3, or what tire size goes with that setup, this build is a real-world answer, photographed and measured by the owner.

RSR 801 series 20x9.5 +25 specs (staggered)

The wheels are 20-inch in diameter and 9.5 inches wide with a +25 offset up front, and 20-inch by 10.5 inches at +35 in the rear.

A +25 offset on a 9.5-inch wide wheel puts the wheel face in an aggressive position close to the fender. Lower offset moves the wheel outward; higher offset tucks it in. The rear +35 offset on the 10.5-inch wheel keeps the rear in line with the front.

RSR 801 series 20x9.5 +25 on a BMW M3 is a common M3 question, and this page shows exactly how it sits, how it clears, and what the owner changed to make it work.

255/30R20 / 295/25R20 tires on 20x9.5 wheels

The tire size is 255/30R20 front and 295/25R20 rear: a 255 mm section width with a 30 aspect ratio on the 20-inch wheel, which gives a square fit (tire and wheel are about the same width, the clean look most people go for).

The owner chose Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 K120. We stock Lexani LX-TWENTY 255/30R20 at $131 each in this size, and other 255/30R20 tires through the 255/30R20 tire search.

Searching for 255/30R20 tires on a BMW M3, or the right tire size for 20x9.5 +25 wheels? This is one owner's proven combination, and every wheel and tire package we sell ships mounted, balanced and ready to bolt on.

Suspension, stance and clearance

The drop comes from H&R sport lowering springs, the simplest way to close the fender gap on a BMW M3 while keeping the factory shocks.

No rubbing at all, front or rear, no spacers, no fender work. That means the setup fits as-is, which is what most owners want to know before they buy.

Stance: flush. The wheel face lines up with the fender. Flush fitment on a BMW M3 comes down to the offset and width above; copy them and you get the same result.
