The wheels are 18-inch in diameter and 9.5 inches wide with a +40 offset, in the 5x108 bolt pattern the Subaru Legacy uses.

A +40 offset on a 9.5-inch wide wheel puts the wheel face in a mild push toward the fender. Lower offset moves the wheel outward; higher offset tucks it in.

255/35R18 tires on 18x9.5 wheels

The tire size is 255/35R18: a 255 mm section width with a 35 aspect ratio on the 18-inch wheel, which gives a square fit (tire and wheel are about the same width, the clean look most people go for).

The owner chose Dunlop Direzza ZII StarSpecs. We stock Lexani LXUHP-207 255/35R18 at $112 each in this size, and other 255/35R18 tires through the 255/35R18 tire search.

Suspension, stance and clearance

The car is lowered on RCE coilovers, which lets the owner dial in ride height and camber to clear 18x9.5 +40 and get the flush look.

No rubbing at all, front or rear, no spacers, pulled and rolled fenders. Rolling or pulling the fender is what most owners do once the wheel sits this close; it keeps the tire from catching the lip over bumps.

Stance: flush. The wheel face lines up with the fender. Flush fitment on a Subaru Legacy comes down to the offset and width above; copy them and you get the same result.
