Heated Grips
Heated Grips: warm hands on cold rides without swapping to winter gloves
Heated grips are handlebar grips with a resistive heating element built into the grip body, wired to your bike or ATV's electrical system and switched on when you want them. They warm the palms and fingers directly through the bar, which is where you lose feel and dexterity first when the temperature drops. Fit a set of heated grips and you extend your riding season, keep throttle control sharper in the cold, and skip the bulk of thick winter gloves. Most sets replace your existing grips and tap into switched power, so you're doing a grip swap plus a wiring run rather than a major job.
What ThreePiece stocks
This category currently holds 7 products across 3 brands: Kuryakyn, QuadBoss and Bike Master. Prices run from $65 to $331, which is the current range for what is in stock rather than a fixed promise. Kuryakyn makes up the top of the range with its ISO Grips line, offered in a throttle-by-wire chrome version and a cable-throttle chrome version. QuadBoss covers the ATV side with the heated grips with thumb warmer and the ATV heated grips. Bike Master anchors the budget end with the Bike Master 7/8in heated grips.
How to choose
Start with your throttle type. If your bike is throttle-by-wire, the cable-specific Kuryakyn set won't work and vice versa, so match the grip to your setup before anything else. Bar diameter matters too: the Bike Master set is a 7/8in grip, which fits standard motorcycle bars but not necessarily every application. For ATV riders, the QuadBoss set with a thumb warmer adds heat to the thumb throttle, which is exactly where quad riders feel the cold, while the plain QuadBoss ATV set keeps the cost down if you don't want the extra element. In short: pay more for chrome-finished, throttle-matched ISO grips, or save with a simpler slip-on kit and give up the finish and the extras.
What else you need with it
A heated grip install is partly an electrical job, so it pairs naturally with Electrical Accessories for switches, fuses and connectors. If you decide you'd rather run unheated grips in the warmer months, browse standard Grips, and if you're rebuilding the whole cockpit look at Handlebars and Quick Release Levers. All of these sit in the broader Interior section alongside floorboards, seat brackets and more.
