Air Fuel Ratio Gauges
Air Fuel Ratio Gauges: Read What Your Engine Is Actually Burning
Air fuel ratio gauges take a signal from an oxygen sensor in the exhaust and turn it into a live number you can read while the engine runs. That lets you see whether the mixture is running rich or lean under load, off idle, or on a wide-open pull. If you are tuning a boosted setup, chasing a hesitation, or just want a check on how a fuel system is behaving, an AFR gauge is the instrument that tells you the truth instead of guessing by ear or plug color. A wideband setup reads across a broad mixture range; that is what you want if you are dialing in a tune rather than only watching for a warning.
What We Stock
There are 15 air fuel ratio gauges in this category from 3 brands: Innovate Motorsports, AutoMeter, and Revel. Prices currently run from $141 to $1,119 for what is in stock right now - that is the live spread, not a fixed promise. Innovate Motorsports makes up most of the range, with AutoMeter and Revel filling in the rest.
At the top sits the Innovate LM-2 Pro-V Dual Channel Wideband w/ OBDII, a two-channel wideband, and the Innovate LM-2 Single Channel Wideband w/ OBDII as a single-channel version. In the mid range, the AutoMeter Cobalt 52mm Air/Fuel Ratio Pro Plus Digital adds peak and warning functions, while the AutoMeter Z-Series 2-1/16in. Digital Street AFR gauge reads 10:1 to 17:1. The Revel VLS 52mm Digital OLED Wideband covers 10.0:1 to 20.0:1 on an OLED display.
How To Choose
The real decision is data-logging versus a dash readout. The Innovate LM-2 units are standalone widebands with OBDII input and log data - that is a tuning tool, and the dual-channel is for when you need to watch two banks. If you want a clean 52mm or 2-1/16in gauge in the dash, the AutoMeter and Revel units are the panel-mount route. Within those, look at the reading range: the Revel VLS spans 10.0:1 to 20.0:1, the AutoMeter Z-Series 10:1 to 17:1, and the AutoMeter Cobalt adds peak recall and a warning function if you want an alert rather than just a number. Wideband gives you a usable value across the whole range; the street digital gauges are best when you mostly want a quick rich/lean picture.
What Else You Need
Most of these mount alongside other cockpit hardware. If you are building out a dash or console, browse the parent Interior section, and consider Electrical Accessories for wiring and mounts. While you are in there, Shift Knobs, Grips, and Racing Seats round out an interior refresh.
