The only finish is Gloss Black with a Milled Diamond Cut Lip, a dark wheel with a sharp bright edge. Very wide rears like the 22x12 almost always need tubs or real chassis work on a C10, so plan for that.

Run 15x8 front and 15x10 rear for the traditional hot-rod truck stance. Its size range is narrow, so it is not the wheel for 17-inch and up builds.

A modern black wheel for lowered or lifted squarebodies in 17x9, 18x9, 20x9 and 20x10, in 5x127 or 6x139.7. Gloss Black/Machined Face gives bright spokes on a black wheel, and Matte Black keeps it all dark. The 20x9 front with 20x10 rear is an easy stagger. It is a newer look, so it fits a modernized truck better than a period restoration.

Boyd Coddington 61SB Smoothie

A smoothie steel-wheel look in Satin Black, in 17x7, 17x8, 20x8 and 20x9, in 5x127 or 6x139.7. It pairs best with chrome trim rings or caps for that classic hot-rod truck look. It is plain on purpose, so it suits clean, low trucks rather than busy builds. Satin Black is the only finish in this design.

C10 Bolt Pattern by Year: 5x5 or 6-Lug?

Before you pick a look, get the bolt pattern right. It changes with year and with 2WD versus 4WD.

A 1970 truck can be 6-lug or 5-lug, so count the lugs. Our data does not cover 1960-1964 trucks, so count lugs and run the fitment search. 3/4-ton C20 and K20 trucks use 8x165.1 (8x6.5) and are not covered here.

73-87 C10 Wheels and the 1985 Chevy C10

Most squarebody searches come down to this: a 2WD 1973-1987 truck is 5x127, and a 4WD K10 or K5 is 6x139.7. A 1985 Chevy C10 2WD is 5x127 with a 78.1 mm bore and a stock 15x6 wheel. That stock 15x6 is narrow, so almost any wheel here is wider than factory. That is why backspacing matters, as explained below.

C10 on Rally Wheels and Torq Thrust Looks

Fifteen-inch wheels with tall sidewalls are the classic C10 look. Two styles do most of the work.

15x10 C10 Rally Wheels

The classic stance is a 15x8 or 15x7 up front with a 15x10 out back. The 15x10 -32 rally rear has a deep negative offset, so the wheel sits well outboard. Check fender and leaf spring clearance before ordering a 10-inch rear. For more old-school designs, see our classic wheel collection.

Pro Touring C10 Staggered Wheels

Lowered C10s usually run 17 to 22 inches, often with a wider rear. These designs come in front and rear widths that pair up:

The Ridler and WELD Ventura designs only come in 5x127, so they suit 2WD trucks from 1970 on. A 6-lug truck should start with Center Line, Vision or Ion. Other big-wheel options include the Foose F105 Legend 20x8.5 in chrome, the gloss black milled Foose F104 in 20x10 and the Ridler 606 18x9.5 chrome. Very wide rears often need tubs or chassis work, not just a drop.

6 Lug Wheels for C10, K10 and K5 Blazer Wheels

The 1965-1969 2WD C10, every K10 4x4 and the 1975-1986 K5 Blazer are 6x139.7. The Race Star 93 Truck Star is 6-lug only. The AR172 Baja, AR62 Outlaw II and Ion Type 171 give the old-school off-road look in 15x8 and 16x8. For a lowered 6-lug street truck, look at the polished Center Line ST02 22x9, the Vision 54 Cheyenne 22x9, the American Racing Groove 6 Drag in 22x9.5 or the satin black Boyd smoothie in 20x8. K trucks use a 78.1 or 89.0 mm bore depending on year, so confirm the wheel bore in the fitment search.

How to Choose Between the Designs

  • Restored or period look: 15-inch rally, Torq Thrust, AR23 or the Vintage VN506.
  • Off-road squarebody: AR172 Baja, Ion Type 171 or Race Star 93.
  • Slammed street truck: Center Line ST01/ST02, Vision 142 Legend, Ridler or WELD Ventura.
  • Plain and clean: Boyd 61SB Smoothie.

On finishes: chrome and polished give maximum shine, but polished aluminum needs regular cleaning. Machined lips put a bright ring on a dark wheel. Satin and matte black hide brake dust best. See all chrome options or browse every Vision American Muscle design.

Backspacing and Offset on Old Trucks

Old trucks are measured in backspacing, the distance from the mounting pad to the inner lip. New wheels are listed by offset. Convert between them with our offset and backspacing converter. Fifty-year-old trucks vary a lot. Disc swaps, axle changes and drop spindles all move where a wheel can sit, so two 1978 C10s may not take the same wheel. Measure your truck and run the fitment search before ordering, especially for 10-inch and wider wheels.

Rims for C10: Quick Checklist

  • Count your lugs: 5x127 or 6x139.7.
  • Pick a diameter that matches your ride height.
  • Decide square or staggered.
  • Measure backspacing and confirm in the fitment search.
  • Check the center bore, especially on K trucks.

Questions

What bolt pattern is a C10?

It depends on year and drive: 1965-1969 2WD C10s are 6x139.7, and 2WD C10s from 1970-1974 and 1975-1986 are 5x127. A 1970 truck can be either, so count the lugs.

Are C10 wheels 5x5?

Most 2WD squarebodies are, since 5x127 equals 5x5. Every 4WD K10 is 6-lug, so check the drive before you order.

What size wheels look best on a C10?

A 15x8 front with a 15x10 rear is the classic look, and lowered trucks usually run 20s or 22s. It comes down to ride height and the style you want.

Can I run staggered wheels on a C10?

Yes, many designs here come in matching front and rear widths, from 15x8/15x10 up to 22x8.5/22x12. Wide rears may need tubs or chassis work.

What wheels fit a K5 Blazer?

A 1975-1986 K5 Blazer uses 6x139.7, the same pattern as a K10. Check the center bore and backspacing in the fitment search before ordering.

How do I know the right backspacing for my old truck?

Measure your current setup and run the fitment search. Brake swaps, axles and drops change what fits, so don't rely on another truck's numbers.

A C10 can wear anything from 15-inch rally wheels to 22-inch polished billet-style wheels, and every wheel on this page is in stock in 5x127 or 6x139.7. Pick a look from the grid, then use the guide below to confirm your bolt pattern by year and drive before you order.

The 18x8/18x9.5 and 20x8.5/20x10 pairs make easy staggered sets. It does not come in 6-lug, so K10s and early trucks should look elsewhere.

The widest size choice on this page, from 17x8 to 22x12, including 17x11, 20x10.5 and 22x12 for big-rear pro touring builds. It is 5x127 only. The only finish is Gloss Black with a Milled Diamond Cut Lip, a dark wheel with a sharp bright edge. Very wide rears like the 22x12 almost always need tubs or real chassis work on a C10, so plan for that.

Bolt pattern: 5x127, 6x139.7

Run 15x8 front and 15x10 rear for the traditional hot-rod truck stance. Its size range is narrow, so it is not the wheel for 17-inch and up builds.

Mag Gray Center with Polished Lip is the most period-looking finish, with Polished and Satin Black as the other two. It gives a vintage look on a lowered truck without going back to 15s.
