Hoses
Hoses: braided AN line and silicone coolant kits for builds that need to move fluid
Hoses carry fuel, oil, coolant and other fluids between the parts of your engine, and the type you fit depends on the job. Braided AN hose runs pressurized fuel and oil where a plain rubber line would chafe, swell or fail; a PTFE liner resists the fuel and chemicals modern builds throw at it, and the braid protects it from heat and abrasion. Silicone coolant hose kits replace tired factory rubber on a specific vehicle with pre-shaped pieces that fit the OE routing. Get the hose right and everything downstream stays sealed and reliable.
What ThreePiece stocks
There are 79 hose products in this category, priced from $38 to $2,380 - that's the current range for what's in stock, not a promise. Eight brands are carried. Fragola is the deepest with 31 products, followed by Vibrant at 27 and Mishimoto at 14, with smaller counts from Radium Engineering, DeatschWerks, Russell, Cusco and Gates.
Concrete examples: the Fragola -8AN PTFE Hose with Black Cover, 20 feet and the longer Fragola -8AN PTFE 100ft roll sit at opposite ends of the price spread. The Vibrant SS braided flex hose with PTFE liner in a 150ft roll and the DeatschWerks 8AN black nylon braided PTFE hose, 20 feet cover the same -8 AN size in different jacket styles. For coolant, the Mishimoto silicone coolant hose kit for the 2011+ Chevrolet Duramax 6.6L is a vehicle-specific set, and the Mishimoto AN Hose Assembly Kit bundles line and hardware for a plumbing job.
How to choose
First decide bulk line or vehicle kit. Braided AN hose comes on rolls in lengths like 20ft, 100ft and 150ft - you cut it to your own routing and add fittings, which suits a custom fuel or oil setup. A silicone coolant kit like the Duramax set is pre-sized for one engine and drops in without measuring. Match the AN size across your build: the examples above are all -8 AN, so if that's your line size, they're directly comparable and the choice comes down to jacket (stainless braid vs nylon), coating and price per foot. Buy roll length for the run you actually have plus a little slack, since a longer roll costs more up front but less per foot.
What else you need with it
Hose is only half the plumbing. You'll need Fittings (634 products) to terminate AN line and Adapters (699 products) to mate different threads and ports. Coolant jobs pair with Radiators, and fuel-side work often ties in Fuel Pumps. Browse the full Engine Components section for related parts.
