Sumitomo 719SE tires: heavy-load sizes built for big-rig and truck duty

The Sumitomo 719SE tires are a large-diameter, high-load-index line carried here in fitments that run from 17-inch all the way up to 24-inch rim diameters. Rather than lean on a category label, this model is best understood by its numbers: tall casings, big load ratings and steady low-speed ratings suited to heavy work. Below is exactly what we stock.

The sizes we carry

We stock the 719SE across four rim diameters — 17, 19, 22 and 24 inches. Representative sizes in stock include 215/75R17, 245/70R19, 225/70R19, 275/70R22, 295/75R22 and 285/75R24. These are the sizes we actually carry, not the model's complete size range. You can see the 22-inch 295/75R22 and the 24-inch 285/75R24 alongside options in 245/70R19 and 225/70R19 on their size pages.

Ratings on the sizes we stock

Speed ratings on this model span L, M and N — the lower-speed ratings typical of heavy-duty running. Load indexes are high, ranging across 128, 135, 136, 146, 147, 148 and 149, which pairs with service descriptions such as 128L, 135J, 136N, 146L, 147L, 148M and 149L. If you haul weight, these are the numbers that matter.

Price band and who it suits

Pricing runs from about $312 for the 215/75R17.50 up to around $1,326 for the 285/75R24.50, with mid-band choices like the 275/70R22.50 near $810. That spread reflects the size and load jump — smaller diameters sit at the low end, the tall heavy-load sizes at the top. This model suits operators who need durable, high-capacity rubber and want to match the rating to the job.

Prefer a lighter or different Sumitomo option? The 719 is the closely related sibling in this family, while the 709SE and 948SE offer other size and rating mixes. For lighter-vehicle needs, the Encounter HT is a different type entirely. Browse the full Sumitomo lineup or all tires to compare.
