Carbon-topped knobs like the Ford Racing Focus RS carbon fiber knob, the Focus ST carbon knob, the HKS carbon knob for ZN6/ZN8 and the HKS carbon knob for GXPA16/GZEA14H lean toward a lighter, dressier feel and are built for named applications. Stainless and barrel-style knobs add heft - the Perrin stainless barrel knob is cut for 2022-2025 WRX and CVT-only Outback, Ascent and Legacy, while the Mishimoto black knob for the 2022+ WRX is a straightforward direct-fit.
