Harness Bars
Harness Bars: the anchor point a multi-point belt actually needs
A harness bar gives a racing-style multi-point belt a solid horizontal mounting point behind the seats, where a factory car has none. Stock cars are built around three-point belts routed to the B-pillar and floor, so when you fit a competition harness there is nowhere correct to run the shoulder straps. A harness bar bolts across the cabin to fix that, keeping the shoulder belts at the right angle instead of pulling down off a rear parcel shelf. If you are running racing seats or a fixed-back seat, harness bars are the piece that makes the belt geometry work.
What ThreePiece stocks
We currently list 8 harness bars in stock, priced from $241 to $293 — that is the current range for what is on the shelf, not a standing promise. Two brands are represented: NRG, with six of the eight, and BLOX Racing with two. On the NRG side you will find finishes like the NRG 51in. bar in Blue and the NRG 51in. bar in Titanium, both at the top of the range. BLOX Racing offers a model listed for 94-01 Integra, 92-00 Civic, 02-06 RSX and 88-91 CRX in either Black or Silver, both at the lower end of the price spread.
How to choose
The clearest split here is universal versus vehicle-specific. The NRG 51in. bars are a set width and mount broadly, which suits a wider variety of cabins but leaves more of the fitment work to you. The BLOX Racing bars are called out for a specific set of chassis in the product name, so if your car is on that list the mounting is a more direct match. After that it is mostly finish — Blue, Titanium, Black or Silver — and price, and the two BLOX options sit at the same $241 point regardless of color. Confirm your seat position and rear cabin space before ordering, because a bar has to clear whatever seats you run.
What else you need with it
A harness bar rarely goes in alone. It is usually part of a seating swap, so pair it with Racing Seats and the correct Seat Brackets to get everything mounted at the right height. Many builders doing this work at the same time also look at Quick Release Levers and finishing touches like Shift Knobs. All of these sit under the broader Interior section if you want to browse the full range.
