Lowering springs work with the stock shocks when the drop is mild, but a shorter spring makes the shock work harder, so many drivers pair them with shocks made for lowered cars. Shocks that are already worn should be replaced at the same time.

- Don't tighten the bushing bolts with the suspension hanging.
