The BC Racing DS-SERIES coilover kit (part number I-17-DS-DA) is made for 2007-2012 BMW 3 Series models. The fit list includes the 328i and 335i (2007-2012), 323i (2007-2011), M3 (2008-2012) and 328i xDrive (2009-2012), all Base trim, with more on the page.

A coilover combines the spring and damper into one threaded-body unit that replaces the factory strut or shock. Ride height is set by adjusting the collar instead of swapping parts. People fit them to lower the car, tighten body roll and get corner-balancing and alignment room.
