Samson GC-D2 tires: built for heavy loads on big-rig rim diameters

The Samson GC-D2 tires we carry run in large-diameter fitments made for high-load work, with service descriptions and load ranges that reflect serious carrying capacity. Below you'll find the exact sizes, speed ratings and load numbers we stock, plus honest pricing so you know where this model sits before you buy. You can also browse the wider Samson range on the brand hub.

The sizes we stock

We carry the GC-D2 across three rim diameters: 19.5", 22.5" and 24.5". The specific sizes we stock are 225/70R19.5, 245/70R19.5, 11R22.5 and 11R24.5. This is what we carry rather than the model's complete size range. Concrete examples include the 225/70R19.5 128/126L at $220.13, the 245/70R19.5 136/134M at $358.77, the 11R22.5 146/143L at $537.76 and the 11R24.5 149/146L at $580.53.

Ratings on the sizes we carry

Speed ratings present are L and M, matched to steady, load-focused use. Load indexes span 126 through 149, and the model is carried in load ranges G and H. Service descriptions in stock include 128/126L, 136/134M, 146/143L and 149/146L, so you can read single- and dual-position capacity directly off each size.

Price band and who it suits

Pricing runs from $220 to $581 per tire depending on size. The smaller 19.5" fitments sit at the affordable end, while the 22.5" and 24.5" sizes carry the higher figures that come with their capacity. It's a practical, value-first pick for operators who need dependable load ratings without a premium price.

If your work leans a different direction, the Samson lineup covers other jobs: the Traker Plus XL is a different type built for a different surface, the Trailer Express HD RB453 serves towed applications, and the GL282A is another heavy-service option worth comparing. You can also step back to all tires.
