Americus Touring PLUS tires: everyday touring comfort for passenger cars and small crossovers

The Americus Touring PLUS tires are a touring line built for the kind of driving most people actually do — commuting, errands and highway miles where a smooth, quiet ride matters. If you want a straightforward touring tire for a sedan, compact or small crossover, this is the model to look at. Everything below reflects the sizes and ratings we stock, not a full spec sheet.

The sizes we carry

We stock this model across 12-, 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-inch rim diameters, with the deepest selection in the 15- and 16-inch range. Representative sizes we carry include 155/80R12 at the entry end, along with 175/70R14, 195/70R14, 165/80R15, 195/60R15, 195/65R15, 205/65R15, 185/60R15 and 215/60R15. Larger fitments include 205/60R16, 225/60R16, 235/60R16 and a 215/65R17. Treat this as what we carry, not the model's complete size range.

Ratings you'll find

Speed ratings across the sizes we stock run H, T and V. Load index spans from 77 up to 100, so lighter compact fitments and more heavily loaded sizes are both represented. Service descriptions include marks like 77T, 88V, 91H and 100H — check the individual size for its exact rating.

Price and who it suits

Pricing runs from about $69 for the 155/80R12 up to roughly $168 for the 205/60R16, with common 15-inch sizes like the 195/65R15 around $107 and the 215/60R15 near $125. That puts the Touring PLUS in the value tier — a sensible pick if you want dependable touring manners without a premium price.

If this isn't quite the match, the MS4000 is another touring-focused sibling, while the Sport HP leans sportier and the Rugged ATR is a rugged option for light trucks and SUVs. Browse the full Americus lineup or the wider tire selection to compare.
