Throttles and Accelerator Pump Parts

The throttle controls how much air and fuel reach the engine. On carbureted machines, the accelerator pump adds a short shot of fuel when you open the throttle quickly. This helps prevent a lean bog or hesitation. Over time its seals and internal parts wear, and throttle response suffers. A rebuild kit restores that crisp response without replacing the whole carburetor.

We currently have 4 throttle products in stock, all from All Balls Racing. The range includes the All Balls Racing Accelerator Pump Rebuild Kit for the 04-09 Yamaha YFZ450 and the All Balls Racing Accelerator Pump Rebuild Kit for the 87-88 Honda TRX250X.

  • Match the kit to your exact make, model and year.
  • Confirm your machine still uses its original carburetor, since a swapped carb may need different parts.
  • Clean the carburetor passages while it is apart so the new parts work as intended.
  • Check the throttle cable and linkage for smooth movement and a clean return.
