Subwoofers

A subwoofer handles the lowest notes in your music, the bass that regular door and dash speakers struggle to reproduce. Adding one takes that load off your other speakers, so the whole system sounds fuller and cleaner, even at moderate volume.

We have 18 subwoofers in stock, all from DS18. Options include the DS18 12in 1500 Watts RMS 4+4 ohm DVC Quad Stacked Magnet subwoofer and the DS18 10in 400 Watts RMS 4 ohm DVC subwoofer with a ferrite motor and dual voice coils.

A few things to check before you choose:

  • Size: Measure the space you have. Larger cones move more air, but they need a bigger enclosure.
  • Power: Match the RMS rating to what your amplifier can deliver continuously, not its peak figure.
  • Impedance and voice coils: Dual voice coil subwoofers can be wired more than one way, so plan for a final load your amplifier is stable at.
  • Enclosure: Sealed boxes tend to sound tighter and more controlled, while ported boxes tend to play louder.

To narrow things down, pick your vehicle to see what fits.
