Service Kits
Service Kits: the pre-bundled parts for a job done right the first time
A service kit gathers the parts that get replaced together during one maintenance job, so you don't chase individual gaskets, seals, O-rings, oil or hardware across five order lines. If you've ever pulled a primary cover only to find you're short one gasket, you know why these exist. The service kits here range from a full oil-change bundle with filter and hardware to primary drivetrain gasket sets and piston/barrel rebuild packs. Fit one because it matches the parts that wear or get disturbed in a specific procedure, in the right quantities, without guesswork.
What ThreePiece stocks
This category currently shows 6 products from 4 brands: Cometic Gasket, ARB, Maxima and Mishimoto. Cometic Gasket is the deepest here with three primary service kits. Prices run from $27 to $187 for what's in stock now, which is the current range and not a fixed promise. On the low end, the Mishimoto Oil Cooler Service Pack covers the seals and parts for an oil cooler service. Mid-range, the ARB Piston/Barrel Service Kit M5/M6 handles a top-end job. At the top sits the Maxima RZR Pro R Quick Change Kit with full synthetic 5W50 oil, filter and hardware.
How to choose
Choose by the job in front of you, not the badge. For a Harley Twin Cam primary service, match the kit to your model year and frame code: the Cometic C9885 primary kit covers 94-06 FXST and 94-2005 FXD, while the Cometic C9888 primary kit covers FXR, FLHT and FLT. Those two are not interchangeable, so read the model codes. For a side-by-side oil change, the all-in-one Maxima kit trades a higher price for fluid and hardware included, so you buy nothing extra. If you're doing a top-end rebuild rather than routine maintenance, the ARB piston/barrel kit is the relevant one. The trade-off across the range is scope: a small service pack is cheap because it does one thing, an oil-plus-hardware bundle costs more because it saves you a second order.
What else you need with it
Service kits pair naturally with the parts they support. Add fresh Oil Filters if your kit doesn't include one, and check Gasket Kits or single Head Gaskets when the job goes deeper than a primary. A piston job may send you to Pistons and Bearings. Browse the full Engine Components section for related parts.
Fitment and ordering
Four of the six kits carry fitment data, with top makes Harley-Davidson and Polaris and a year range spanning 1994 to 2024. Named coverage includes the Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88 and 96, FXST, FXD, FXR, FLHT and FLT, plus the Polaris RZR Pro R. Confirm your exact model and year before ordering, since primary kits are model-code specific. For help, call 813-535-5801 or use the contact page.
