How to choose

If your goal is a stouter, more serviceable setup on a Duramax, the BD Diesel Venom CP3 conversion kit for the 11-16 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD swaps the platform over to a standard CP3. A reman pump like the Industrial Injection LB7 unit is the budget-conscious route back to stock function; a purpose-built Exergy or Industrial Injection pump is aimed at higher fuel demand.

Water injection is a different job entirely. The Snow Performance 300psi pump-only and the UHO quick-connect version spray water/methanol to cool the intake charge - they don't replace your diesel's main pump. Pick these if you're managing heat on a boosted build, not if you're chasing a failed fuel pump.

Pump work rarely stops at the pump. Plan on fresh fittings and adapters for the high-pressure and return lines, and check your lift-side supply with a look through fuel pumps.
