Banjo Bolts
Banjo Bolts: the hollow bolt that lets a hard mount flow fluid
A banjo bolt is a hollow through-bolt that clamps a banjo fitting - the round "eye" - against a port, letting fuel, oil or brake fluid pass through the bolt while a crush washer on each side seals it. You fit banjo bolts where a line has to make a tight turn at a fixed port and a straight fitting won't clear: fuel rails, oil feeds, turbo drains, brake calipers and master cylinders. Because the eye swivels on the bolt before you crush it down, you can clock the hose exactly where you want it, then torque the bolt to seal. Get the thread pitch and the crush washers right and it stays dry.
What ThreePiece stocks
This category holds 87 products priced from $24 to $76 - the current range for what is in stock, not a fixed price. Seven brands are represented. Vibrant leads the count at 45 items, followed by Radium Engineering at 33, with Fragola, Mishimoto, BLOX Racing, Kuryakyn and Goodridge filling out the rest. Concrete examples: the Radium Engineering 10AN Male Swivel Banjo 11.8mm Press Fit and its 17.5mm press-fit sibling, the Vibrant -12AN banjo-to-rubber hose end and a Vibrant banjo hose end for PTFE-lined flex hose, plus Mishimoto's M20 x 5/8 straight black banjo with bolt and the M20 x -10AN black version.
How to choose
Start with the port. The bolt thread has to match the port thread and pitch - the Mishimoto pieces above are M20, for instance - and the AN or ORB size on the fitting has to match the hose you are running. Decide whether you need a standalone banjo bolt to reuse an existing fitting, a swivel banjo like the Radium press-fit parts that clocks freely, or a complete banjo-and-bolt assembly like the Mishimoto sets that arrive ready to bolt on. Press-fit versions such as the 11.8mm and 17.5mm Radium parts are sized to a specific hose OD, so measure before ordering. Vibrant covers both rubber-hose and PTFE-lined flex-hose ends, so match the fitting to your hose construction, not just the AN number.
What else you need
Buy fresh crush washers every time - do not reuse them. If the banjo won't give you the routing you want, an inline adapter or a different hose end from Adapters or Fittings may be the cleaner answer. Feed and drain jobs often touch neighbouring parts, so it is worth browsing Fuel Pumps, Oil Filters and Gasket Kits while you have the manifold apart. All of these sit under the wider Engine Components section.
Fitment and ordering
Fitment data here is thin - only one product lists a vehicle, a 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX - so most of these parts are chosen by thread, AN size and hose type rather than by make and model. Confirm your port thread before you order. For help, call fitment support at 813-535-5801 or use the contact page.
