Application tuned for precision on-road and off-road handling, Rancho® RS7MT® monotube shocks are highly effective in the dissipation of heat, making them ideal for extreme off-road use and larger wheel and tire packages. RS7MT shocks feature an integrated dirt wiper sealing system that keeps dirt and debris out, hardened piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion plus an internal rebound bumper to smooth out your ride on any terrain.
Rancho RS7MT RS77069 Suspension Shock Absorber for Jeep Gladiator
RS7MT Suspension Shock Absorber
- SMOOTH PERFORMANCE -- Internal rebound bumper and shouldered rubber bushings help reduce noise, vibration and ride harshness while the PTFE-banded piston enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions for an overall smoother ride
- HANDLES EXTREME TEMPERATURE CHANGES -- Large 2-in. monotube body filled with all-weather fluid allows for cooler operation, increased vehicle control and ability to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248°F
- KEEPS DIRT AND DEBRIS OUT -- Sealing system with integrated dirt wiper helps keep moisture, dirt and debris from being ingested into the shock and contaminating the oil and destroying the internal seal
- BUILT TO LAST -- Large 46mm fluon-banded piston for consistent sealing between the piston and monotube for precise control, ride and handling; for extra protection, purchase shock boot RS1952 or RS1961
- PRECISE HANDLING AND PERFORMANCE -- Deflective Disc Valving features digressive, linear or progressive tuning based on application requirements for precision handling and performance on- and off-road

Rancho 20-22 Jeep Gladiator Sport Overland Rubicon RS7MT Shock - RS77069 FAQ
It is listed for: 2021 Jeep Gladiator; 2022 Jeep Gladiator; 2020 Jeep Gladiator and more (see the full list above). Pick your vehicle on this page to check your exact year and trim.
Yes. Replace both fronts or both rears together so each axle damps evenly.
Struts that bolt to the knuckle set camber, so an alignment is wise after replacing them. Rear shocks that only bolt to the axle or arm usually do not change the alignment.
Bouncing after bumps, nose-dive under braking, uneven tire wear and fluid on the shock body are the usual signs.
Only when the listing says they are made for it. A stock-length shock on a lowered or lifted car runs near the end of its travel and wears early.
Check the top mounts and bump stops while the strut is out; worn ones are usually replaced at the same time.
Yes — monthly options show right under the Add to Cart button. Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later and Snap Finance are offered at checkout, and checking what you qualify for does not affect your credit score.
