Kuryakyn Multi-Purpose Backrest Black & Chrome - 1661
$534.99
The Kuryakyn Multi-Purpose Backrest (1661) is a backrest in a black and chrome finish. No specific vehicle fit list is given for this listing, so check the page for your bike or seat setup before ordering.
A cushion is the part you lean against, so it spreads your weight, damps vibration and holds your body in position over a long day. On a touring bike a good backrest helps keep pressure off the tailbone and lower back. If you already like your seat and just want back support, a Kuryakyn backrest is the cheaper, bolt-on route compared with swapping the whole seat.
Not sure it suits your machine? Pick your vehicle on the page or call us and we will help you confirm it.

Install and care: interior
- Before you start, read the maker's guide on this page end to end and lay out every part against the What's in the box list.
- Do torque every fastener to the maker's figure with a torque wrench, and re-check it after the first drive.
- Don't force a part that does not line up: check the vehicle list on this page against your exact year and trim first.
