What 195/60R14 means
In the size 195/60R14, 195 is the section width in millimeters (7.68 in), 60 is the aspect ratio — the sidewall stands 60% as tall as the tire is wide, or 117.0 mm (4.61 in) — R denotes radial construction, and 14 is the wheel diameter in inches. That works out to an overall diameter of about 23.21 inches, turning roughly 869 revolutions per mile.
