Complete the job
Read before you buy
This high quality system has been designed to retain the factory load carrying capacity and ride of the vehicle with minimal parts. The factory Ram Radius Arms are relocated with heavy duty 1/4 in. thick steel brackets for proper caster with the 5 in. lift. Super stout front and rear Track Bar drop brackets center the axles under the vehicle with the new ride height. The stock coil springs are retained with angular steel spacers to retain the factory front spring bow. This is an important feature with the stock springs as Chrysler designed the bow to aid in their unique alignment specs and ride. Flat spacers do not provide this. The rear coil springs are also retained with steel spacers keeping the weight carrying capacity of the vehicle intact. A Fabtech innovation with this Ram lift kit is the heavy duty steel front bump extensions. They retain the stock bump stop cushions for progressive damping and will not allow the suspension to over travel. This is a superior feature compared to replacement long length urethane bump stops as they can push out under harsh conditions and allow over traveling.

Fabtech 19-22 Ram 2500 4WD 5in Basic Kit w/Stealth - K3173M FAQ
It is listed for: 2019-2024 Ram 2500; 2019-2021 Ram 2500; 2019-2024 Ram 2500 and more (see the full list above). Pick your vehicle on this page to check your exact year and trim.
Yes. Any change in ride height changes the alignment; set it once the kit is on and the truck has been driven a short distance.
The maker states the largest tire the kit is designed to clear; going larger can need trimming or more lift. Wider wheels with less backspacing also change what clears.
Taller lifts change the angles of the driveshaft and CV joints, and kits made for that height include the parts to correct them when needed. A leveling kit that raises the front a small amount usually does not.
A leveling kit raises the front to match the rear and keeps the stock springs and shocks, so the ride stays close to stock. Larger lifts with new springs change the ride more.
Some kits reuse the stock shocks and some include or call for longer ones; the Part details and the maker's guide on this page say which.
Trucks with headlight leveling, adaptive cruise or a forward camera may need those systems re-aimed after the height changes.

Install and care: lift kits
Before you start
- Read the maker's guide for the tire size it clears and whether longer shocks or driveline parts are called for.
- Book an alignment and, on trucks with cameras or adaptive cruise, a re-aim of those systems.
Do
- Torque every bolt to the maker's figure and re-check after the first drive.
- Align the truck once the height has settled.
Don't
- Don't run a larger tire than the kit is made for without checking the clearance.
- Don't skip the driveline parts the maker says a taller lift needs.
