EVS Base Layer Fusion Sock Black - Large/XL - FSN-BK-L/XL

The EVS Base Layer Fusion Sock in Black (Large/XL) — part number FSN-BK-L/XL — is a purpose-built motocross and powersports base layer sock designed specifically for riders who wear knee braces and guards. Whether you're tackling enduro trails, MX tracks, or off-road adventure routes, this sock serves as the critical interface between your skin and your protective gear, keeping everything locked in place and comfortable across the full duration of your ride.

Key Features & Benefits

• Silicone Print in Key Registration Zones: A new silicone gripper pattern is strategically placed at critical contact zones to deliver anti-migration support, so your knee brace or guard stays exactly where you put it — no sliding, no bunching, no mid-ride adjustments needed.
• 4-Way Stretch Lycra Construction: The body of the sock is built from 4-way stretch Lycra, giving it a smooth, form-fitting feel that moves naturally with your leg. This anti-chafing layer reduces skin irritation under hard protective gear during long rides.
• Moisture-Wicking Compression: The Lycra construction also provides light compression with active moisture management, helping to pull sweat away from the skin and keep you drier and more comfortable as intensity builds.
• Rear Lycra Mesh Panels: Strategically placed mesh panels at the back of the sock boost airflow and cooling, which matters when you're running full knee protection in warm conditions.
• Reinforced Heel and Toe Zones: High-wear areas at the heel and toe are reinforced for extended durability, so the sock holds up through repeated use, washing, and the abrasion demands of riding boots.
• Extended Thigh-Length Cut: The tall, thigh-length design is engineered specifically to integrate seamlessly under knee braces and guards, ensuring the sock covers and protects the full area your protective gear contacts.
• Anti-Chafing Base Layer Performance: The overall construction is designed to eliminate friction between your skin and your brace hardware, making all-day protection wearable rather than punishing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes the Fusion Sock different from a regular compression sock?
A: The Fusion Sock is purpose-designed for use under knee braces and guards, not just general compression. The key difference is the silicone gripper print in registration zones, which actively prevents the sock — and by extension, your brace — from migrating during aggressive riding. Regular compression socks don't offer this anti-migration feature or the extended thigh-length cut needed for brace integration.

Q: Will the Large/XL size fit me?
A: The Large/XL size covers a broad range of riders, but sizing can vary depending on your specific leg dimensions. EVS provides a size chart to help you choose correctly — check the size chart link on this page, or contact our team at 813-535-5801 and we'll help you confirm the right fit before you order.

Q: Is this sock compatible with knee braces from brands other than EVS?
A: Yes. The Fusion Sock's thigh-length cut and silicone anti-migration zones are designed to work as a base layer under a wide range of knee braces and guards, not exclusively EVS products. If you have a specific brace compatibility question, reach out to our fitment team.

Q: How do I care for the Fusion Sock to maximize its lifespan?
A: EVS recommends following the care instructions on the garment label. General best practice for Lycra-based athletic gear is to machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and air dry — high heat can degrade stretch fabrics and the silicone gripper prints over time. Always refer to the tag for the manufacturer's specific guidance.
