Fits: 2014-2017 Chevrolet SS (Base).
The BC Racing ER-Series coilover kit, part number Q-14-ER, is made for the 2014-2017 Chevrolet SS. It is a mono-tube design with adjustable ride height.
The ER-Series gives you independent damping control, with 30-way compression and 30-way rebound adjustment. You can tune each side of the damper separately, firmer for track days or softer for the street. Like any coilover, it combines spring and damper in one threaded-body unit that replaces the factory strut or shock, and you set ride height by moving the spring perch. Spring rates are listed at 7 kg/mm front and 12 kg/mm rear.
People fit coilovers to lower the car, tighten body roll and gain corner-balancing and alignment latitude. Pick your vehicle on the page to confirm fit, or call 813-535-5801.

Yes. Changing ride height changes camber and toe, so have the car aligned once the height is set and the suspension has settled after a short drive.
Set all four corners before the alignment, keep the drop inside the maker's range, and re-check the height after the first drive because the springs settle. Going lower than the maker recommends costs ride quality and tire life.
The car settles a little over the first few drives. After that, re-check the ride height, the lock rings on the collars and the top-mount hardware, then get the alignment done.
This kit is the maker's ER series. Each series is built for a different mix of street comfort and track grip and comes with its own damper and spring setup, so the series name tells you which tune you are getting.
Yes. Most coilovers are built for daily use when set to the maker's recommended height and a softer damping setting. Track-focused series ride firmer.
