This is the BC Racing ER-SERIES coilover kit, part number S-03-ER, made for the 2000-2006 Audi TT, including the Base and Quattro versions, the 2002 Quattro ALMS Edition and the 2006 Quattro Special Edition.
A coilover combines the spring and the damper into a single threaded-body unit that replaces your factory strut or shock. Because the spring perch threads up and down the body, you set ride height at the collar instead of swapping parts. Owners fit them to lower the car, tighten body roll and gain corner-balancing and alignment latitude the factory suspension never offered.
