Boyd Coddington
Boyd Coddington wheels: hot-rod heritage cast in aluminum and steel
Boyd Coddington wheels carry one of the most recognized names in American custom car culture. Boyd Coddington built his reputation in the hot-rod world, and the wheel line keeps that identity intact - classic profiles like the Magnum 500 and the Smoothie sit right next to modern billet-style designs. This is a catalog built for people who know exactly the look they want, whether that's a period-correct rally wheel or a deep-lip polished 20. You'll find the whole range on the Boyd Coddington hub.
The lineup, model by model
Across the range there are 146 SKUs spanning 15, 17, 18 and 20 inch diameters. Here's how the models differ from one another.
Classic rally and Magnum 500 wheels
The 54 Series Magnum 500 is the traditional five-slot Magnum look, a 15-inch monoblock in Chrome / Semi Black. The 54 Series Magnum 500 With Pony Cap is the same wheel finished off with a pony center cap, and it adds a Satin Black with Satin Clear-Coat option alongside the chrome.
The steel rally wheels are the budget-friendly backbone of the line, all 15-inch and finished in Silver. The Steel Rally Multi Leg and the Steel Rally 5 Lug cover five-lug applications, the Steel Rally 6 Lug handles six-lug. The 55 Series Steel Rally ships without a cap - note that in the name so you know to source one separately.
Smoothie
The Smoothie is the clean, cap-covered disc look, and it comes in several finish-specific versions. The 61B Smoothie is Gloss Black and the 61R Smoothie is Baron Red - both 15-inch. Step up to the larger 17 and 20 inch sizes with the 61SB Smoothie in Satin Black or the 61W Smoothie in White. Same silhouette, different finish and diameter across the family.
Junkyard Dog
The Junkyard Dog is the multi-spoke billet-style design and the widest-ranging model in the catalog, offered in 15, 17, 18 and 20 inch. Pick your finish: the BC1C Junkyard Dog in Chrome, the BC1P Junkyard Dog in High Polish, and the BC1GM Junkyard Dog in Gunmetal with a machined lip for a two-tone effect.
Speedster and Bristol
The Speedster is a 17 and 18 inch design in two finishes - the BC2MB Speedster in Gloss Black and Machined and the BC2P Speedster in High Polish. The BC3 Bristol rounds out the lineup with a Gloss Black finish and milled spokes, available in 15 and 17 inch.
Construction and finishes
Every wheel in this catalog is monoblock construction - a single cast piece rather than a bolted multi-part assembly. That keeps them straightforward to live with and holds the price down. Finishes run the full spread, from utility Silver on the steel rallies to Chrome, Chrome Plated and High Polish on the show wheels, plus Gloss Black, Satin Black, Gunmetal with machined lip, Gloss Black with milled spokes, White and Baron Red. If you want color, it's here; if you want mirror-bright, that's here too.
Price and who it's for
Boyd Coddington covers a real range. Steel rally wheels start around $68, which makes them one of the easiest ways to get a classic look on a budget. The cast-aluminum designs climb toward $386 for the larger polished and chrome-plated Junkyard Dogs. This line is aimed at hot-rod builders, restomod owners and anyone chasing a specific classic-American aesthetic - not the crowd looking for a plain OE replacement. You're buying the look and the name.
