What 185/65R15 means

In the size 185/65R15, 185 is the section width in millimeters (7.28 in), 65 is the aspect ratio — the sidewall stands 65% as tall as the tire is wide, or 120.2 mm (4.73 in) — R denotes radial construction, and 15 is the wheel diameter in inches.
