King Shocks 3.0 ID Coil Springs 14 x 700lb - SPR3-14-700

The King Shocks 3.0 ID Coil Spring 14 x 700lb (SPR3-14-700) is a purpose-built off-road coil spring engineered for use on 2.5" diameter King shock bodies. With a 3.0" inside diameter, a 14" free length, and a 700 lb/in linear spring rate, this coil is built to handle heavy-duty off-road loads while maintaining consistent, predictable control across the shock's travel.

Key Features & Benefits

• High-Tensile Chrome Silicon Wire: Manufactured from the finest quality chrome silicon wire available, giving the spring the durability needed for repeated high-load off-road impacts.
• Purpose-Wound for Off-Road Use: Unlike repackaged automotive springs, King's coils are specifically wound for off-road applications, with rates, wire diameters, and lengths developed through real-world testing across all types of terrain.
• Closed & Ground Ends: Ends are closed and ground flat so the spring sits square on the perch and deflects true, reducing binding and uneven wear.
• Made to King's Own Specifications: Produced in the USA to King Shocks' internal engineering standards rather than off-the-shelf spring stock.
• Backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty: King offers a lifetime limited warranty to the original purchaser against sagging and breakage, reflecting the low return rate seen across thousands of springs sold.

Fitment

This coil spring is designed to fit King Shocks' 2.5" diameter shock bodies that use a 3.0" ID coil spring configuration. It is not vehicle-specific by year, make, or model — instead, it's selected based on your shock's body diameter and the spring rate needed for your rig's weight and off-road use case (single-rate or as part of a dual-rate setup). If you're unsure whether the 3.0" ID / 14" / 700lb configuration is correct for your King shock build, our fitment team can help you confirm before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the SPR3-14-700 part number mean?
Following King's naming convention, "3" indicates a 3.0" internal diameter spring, "14" is the coil length in inches, and "700" is the spring rate in pounds per inch of compression.

What shock bodies does this spring fit?
King's 3.0" ID coil springs, including the SPR3-14-700, are designed for use on 2.5" diameter King shock bodies.

Can this spring be used in a dual-rate setup?
Yes — King offers these coils for both single-rate and dual-rate configurations. In a dual-rate setup, two coils are mounted to the shock and combine to produce a different effective rate than either spring alone; our team can help walk through the math for your specific build.

Is this spring covered by a warranty?
King backs its coil springs with a lifetime limited warranty to the original purchaser against sagging and breakage.
