American Racing Vintage
American Racing Vintage wheels: the classic hot-rod look, still in production
American Racing Vintage wheels are the heritage arm of American Racing, one of the oldest names in the American aftermarket. This is the collection that carries the Torq Thrust family and the rest of the muscle-car and street-rod designs that defined the look for decades. If you have seen a Torq Thrust on a Camaro, a Mustang or a Cobra replica, you have seen this line. ThreePiece.us carries the full American Racing Vintage catalog, from small 14-inch classics up to 26-inch modern reworks of the same silhouettes.
The whole point of the Vintage line is honesty to the original shapes. The five-spoke, the smoothie, the salt-flat mag, the slotted dish, the wire-look chrome, all here, offered in period finishes rather than chased into something they were never meant to be. Prices across the range run from about $40 to just over $1,600 a wheel depending on how the model is built.
The American Racing Vintage lineup
This is a broad catalog, so it helps to group it by what each design is actually doing.
The Torq Thrust family
This is the heart of the brand, and there are more versions of it than people expect because the Torq Thrust has been reissued in different eras and constructions. The 105D Torq Thrust D is the classic five-spoke in a compact monoblock, offered 14 through 16 inch in satin black or gray with a machined lip. The 605D is the same Torq Thrust D shape in chrome. The 109 (TT O) is the 17-inch polished open-spoke version, while the 309 gives you the TT O in cast form with a vintage silver machined-lip finish alongside plain silver.
For the modern one-piece Torq Thrust II, look at the 515, a cast monoblock polished wheel that spans the widest diameter range in the line, 14 all the way to 22. The 505 is the cast polished Torq Thrust II across 14 to 20, the 615 is the same wheel in chrome, and the 815 and 915 carry the Torq Thrust II look in chrome and PVD finishes. When you want the show-quality version, the 405 Torq Thrust II Custom steps up to two-piece and forged construction with polished and chrome options, and the cast CL205 Classic Torq Thrust II Custom gives you the deep-dish stance with a polished lip in gray. The 425 Torq Thrust SL is the two-piece polished take.
Salt-flat and land-speed designs
The salt-flat look, solid center with a smoothed dish, is well represented. The 470 Salt Flat pairs a cast center with a forged barrel and comes in mag gray with a polished barrel; the 471 Salt Flat Special is the fully polished variant. The 511 Salt Flat is the monoblock reissue offered up to 22 inch in black, gray and polished, several with a diamond-cut lip.
Muscle-car and pony-car spokes
These are the OE-inspired shapes. The 701 Nova and the chrome 508 Super Nova 5 cover the classic slotted styles. The 806 Fast Back is a modern anthracite fitment, the 801 Daytona and 805 BLVD handle the larger-diameter street builds in black, gray and chrome, and the 690 IROC reproduces that specific factory look in 20-inch chrome. The 808 Mach 5 is a clean chrome 17. The 338 Boss TT is a monoblock in black or graphite with a diamond-cut lip, sized 18 and 20.
Cobra, hot-rod and specialty
For Cobra and roadster builds, the 427 Shelby Cobra is the two-piece cast-center forged-barrel wheel with a range of mag and polished finishes. The 402 Classic 200S and 420 Classic 200S are the smooth-dish two-piece designs, the 450 Hopster and its polished sibling 550 carry the wide-lip street look, and the 500 is the polished two-piece staple. The A69 Ansen Sprint is a polished retro five-spoke that also comes in four-lug patterns. Simpler classics round it out: the 47 Vector, the 501, 502, 504, the chrome 507 Rodder, the 527 (427 Mono Cast), and the 506, which is one of the few in the line offered in a 6-lug pattern.
Modern reworks
A handful of designs bring the vintage vocabulary into bigger, contemporary fitments. The 510 Draft, the 514 Groove (offered as far up as 26 inch and available in monoblock, flow-formed and two-piece forged builds) and the 472 Burnout in black milled with a polished barrel are where the classic look meets a larger, more aggressive footprint.
Construction and finishes
American Racing Vintage is built three ways depending on the model. Most of the catalog is cast monoblock, the affordable one-piece format that keeps the classic reissues accessible. A number of designs use a cast center with a forged barrel, which is how the deep-dish two-piece looks get their width without going full price. A smaller set are two-piece forged center and barrel or flow-formed for the strongest, lightest versions. That range is why the same shape can appear at very different price points.
Finishes stay true to the era: polished, chrome, PVD, satin and gloss black, mag gray, graphite, anthracite and silver, with many wheels adding a machined or diamond-cut lip. The two-piece designs open up center-and-barrel combinations like mag gray centers over polished barrels.
Price and who it's for
This line rewards a specific owner: someone restoring, restomodding or styling a classic American car who wants the correct period look rather than a generic modern wheel. Entry cast monoblocks start low, making them realistic for a full set on a driver, while the forged and two-piece designs sit higher for show and pro-touring builds. If you care about the shape being right, this is the catalog that gets it right.
