Installation & fitment notes
This is not a bolt-on for a stock Sport. Running 37x12.50R17 on this 2021 JL Sport requires real supporting work.
The minimum recommended lift for a clean 37-inch fitment on a JL is 3.5 inches with proper bump stop adjustment.
Because the Sport lacks the wider Rubicon flares,
a 3.5- to 4-inch lift with extended bump stops handles 37s, though full-lock steering will require minor inner fender trimming on Sport and Sahara trims.
High-clearance flares eliminate that rub instead of trimming around it.
The KM235's 17x9 -38mm offset pushes the tire outboard (roughly 4.75" backspacing), which affects rubbing.
